Duncan MacCallum is running for Ward 1 Councillor to bring a practical, accountable and community-focused approach to local government. He believes residents deserve thoughtful decision-making, responsible spending and clear priorities that reflect the needs of the people who live and work in Ward 1.

His focus is on supporting smart growth, strengthening the local economy, protecting the character of neighbourhoods and waterfront areas, and making sure infrastructure and municipal services keep pace with the community’s needs. Duncan also believes growth should be carefully planned so that new development contributes fairly to the long-term costs it creates.

Above all, Duncan wants residents to feel heard and properly represented at Town Hall. By listening to concerns, asking the right questions and making informed decisions, he aims to provide Ward 1 with a strong, accessible and dependable voice.
